PartSource Supports Canada’s Kids!
PartSource and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada have teamed up to help Canada’s kids.
For more than ninety years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada has been helping children. Today, we are Canada’s leading youth mentoring organization and provide mentoring services for 20,000 “Littles” in more than 300 communities. We know that mentoring has a positive impact on children. Mentoring or being a “Big” means having fun and being rewarded for it! A volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters brings a consistent, positive influence into the life of a child – as a volunteer not only do you get to play but you make a constructive difference in someone else’s life.
And the research proves it!
Did you know that:
- Children with mentors go to school more often
- Are more likely to graduate
- Are less likely to use drugs or alcohol
- 78% of former Littles who came from social assistance backgrounds no longer rely on social assistance.

And PartSource is helping! PartSource is giving back to the communities in which you operate. With every new store opening, funds raised from the opening events are donated to the local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency. In addition to these funds, PartSource head office will match these funds for the local agency.
On a National level, PartSource is working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada on an awareness campaign to help promote adult volunteerism. Together, PartSource and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada are working to ensure that “Every Child In Canada Who Needs A Mentor Has A Mentor”.
